Country Hills Golf Club is looking for positive, highly motivated individuals to join our grounds maintenance team for the 2023 golf season. Successful candidates will be passionate about working outdoors, have a desire to learn, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. We pride ourselves in fostering a safe, enjoyable, teamwork-oriented space for our staff. Our grounds crew helps to promote our culture while upholding our club and department’s mission, vision, and values.

Country Hills Golf Club is a 36-hole private facility located on Country Hills Boulevard Northwest Calgary. This is a great opportunity for active people who enjoy early mornings and the outdoors. Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A positive attitude and a desire to work within a dynamic environment
• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new skills
• Pride in their work and in their ability to be reliable, safe, and accountable
• A preference to working outdoors and the willingness to work in all types of weather
• Excellent ability to communicate and follow verbal and written instructions
• Motivation to ensure the success of our team and the ability to work with a diverse group of people
• Ability to work extended work weeks, including weekends and holidays

Daily tasks may include but not limited to:

• Various manual labour tasks
• Operation of various types of turf equipment i.e., golf carts and mowers
• A variety of tasks associated with daily course set up such as mowing, raking bunkers, setting pins, horticulture, and hand watering
• Special projects and landscaping

Job requirements and qualifications:

• Must be legally able to work in Canada
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from work
• Knowledge of golf and the rules of golf is an asset
• Previous experience working on a golf course is an asset, but not required
